Quantum Pathways

Research

Develop the mindset of a researcher

Our Research Programme gives students the opportunity to explore a subject of their choice in depth under the guidance of experienced mentors and academics.

Students develop an original piece of work, such as an academic essay, a technical project or a prototype, while learning the key skills used in university-level study. The completed project can form part of a student's academic profile and demonstrates intellectual curiosity and advanced subject engagement — qualities highly valued by top universities.

Projects are tailored to each student's individual goals. They are suitable both for students pursuing a topic out of their own academic interests and for those preparing work for competitions, university application portfolios or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
